Summary:There are provided an ultrasonic failure diagnostic device for power apparatus and method of the same, in which an ultrasonic detector receives the ultrasonic signal generated by a power apparatus due to local discharging. The received signal is converted into electrical signal of audio scale for being inputted to an analog to digital converter, so that the electrical signal is converted into digital data at a specific sampling rate. A recording and analyzing system receives and records the digital data so as to form a data file. An application program of the recording and analyzing system draws a three-dimensional graph of local discharging based on the data file, so as to allow the staff to detect the local discharging three-dimensional graph, thereby avoiding an industrial accident.
