Summary: | A digital power factor calibration circuit includes the followings: a full-wave rectifier for receiving an AC voltage input; and a pulse width modulation circuit, which includes an analog/digital converter for converting the voltage output of a full-wave rectifier into a series of address such that power factor calibration is performed by sequentially extracting an pulse output of pulse width modulation generated for the pulse corresponding to each address based on the series of address from a register so as to control on/off of a switching apparatus. In the invention, by using digital operation theory, power factor calibration is operated such that it has the advantages such as high accuracy, easy fabrication and low production cost. |
