Summary:This invention relates to a nonflammable polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer composition (F) used in skins of internal automotive trim, which comprises 100 parts by weight of an oil-extended polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer composition and is composed by 50-70 parts by weight of an ethylene/ alpha-olefin copolymer elastomer (A) (Mooney viscosity: ML1+4 (100 DEG C) 40-100), 35-21 parts by weight of polyethylene resin (B) (crystal melting point 140-165 DEG C, an ethylene unit content of 1-2 wt%), a low-density polyethylene resin (C) (density 0.90-0.93 g/cm , crystal melting point 102-118 DEG C) , 15-9 parts by weight of an olefin thermoplastic elstomer (D), 10-30 parts by weight of a mineral oil (e). The oil-extended polyolefin thermoplastic elastomer comprises 25-50 parts by weight of the melamine-coated ammonium polyphosphate (h), and 8-17 parts by weight of a specified 1,3,5-triazine derivatives (J), and 0.1-3 parts by weight of the lubricant (f). The composition (F) exhibits excellent primary formability in calendering and postformability such as pressure and the vacuum forming, and produces shaped items having flexibility and flame resistance suited for use in internal automotive trims, and the generation of corrosive gas and toxic gases attributed to thermaldecomposition in fires is slightly low.
