Summary: | A process for the preparation of a mixed vanadium, antimony and titanium oxide corresponding to the general formula (I): VSbaTibOx (I) in which: -a represents an integer or fraction equal to or larger than 0.1, -b represents an integer or fraction equal to or larger than 0.1, -x represents an integer or fraction determined by the oxidation status of the other elements, the process being characterized in that: - respective compounds of vanadium, antimony and titanium are dissolved in at least one saturated alcohol, - the alcoholic solution thus obtained is brought into contact with water in order to precipitate the mixed oxide, and - the mixed oxide obtained is separated off and calcined. |
