Process and filter for removing organic substances and ozone from gases

A process for removing C4-12 aliphatic and/or aromatic compounds and ozone from gases, which comprises at normal temperature of -10 degree C to 150 degree C and gas linear input velocity of 0.02-1 m/s contacting the gas with a first filtration member made of an ozone-binding polymer of poly(1,4-phen...

Summary:A process for removing C4-12 aliphatic and/or aromatic compounds and ozone from gases, which comprises at normal temperature of -10 degree C to 150 degree C and gas linear input velocity of 0.02-1 m/s contacting the gas with a first filtration member made of an ozone-binding polymer of poly(1,4-phenylene sulfide) (PPS) having average molecular weight of 4,000-200,000, and then with a second filtration membrane of activated carbon or with a single filter comprising the first filtration membrane and the second filtration membrane.
