Summary:A process of producing plastic body (column) used for transmission of light or image, which comprises co-extruding two polymer solutions in which their monomers have different refractive index to an enclosed tube so that the monomers undergo mutual diffusion between the inner layer and the outer layer in the enclosed tube, cross-linking the monomers and cutting off the outer layer, or separating the outer layer prior to the cross-linking step followed by cross-linking, to obtain the plastic body (column) capable of transmitting light and image.
