The present invention is an automated fruits sorting method which uses a processing device to sort captured images of the fruits to be tested, and the steps include receiving captured images; using an object identifying model module to input the captured images into an object identifying model arranged in the object identifying model module, identifying image areas corresponding to the fruits to be tested in the captured images, using them as fruit objects, and attaching a bounding box around the fruit objects; using a preset type mask arranged in an object type screening module to generate degrees of overlap based on an overlapping area of the fruit objects and the preset type mask, generate type differences based on differences between profiles of the fruit objects and the preset type mask, and generate qualified or unqualified information based on the degrees of overlap, the type differences and screening criteria set by the object type screening module.
