Summary:An aluminum foil and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The method includes the steps of providing an aluminum slab; subjecting the aluminum slab to homogenization treatment to obtain a homogeneous aluminum slab; pre-heating the homogeneous aluminum slab in a furnace, followed by hot-rolling to obtain a treated plate; first cold rolling and intermediate annealing the treated plate, followed by second cold rolling again to obtain a treated sheet; and performing a final annealing treatment to obtain the aluminum foil. The obtained aluminum foil has a tensile strength between 95 MPa and 98 MPa at room temperature, or between 66 MPa and 69 MPa at 130 DEG C.
