The invention relates to an assembly (1) comprising an interbody cage (2) and a device (3) for positioning the cage (2) between two vertebrae (4), in which: - the cage (2) comprises an opening (12) provided at the level of a posterior face and opening onto a transverse axis (9); - the device (3) comprises a rod (7) slidably mounted in a tubular body (6), the rod (7) being extended at a first end by a hook (8) for connection with the transverse axis (9) of the cage (2), and connected at a second end to means (10) for slidingly driving the rod (7); the rod (7) is slidable between an open position (12) of the hook (8) and a position for locking the rotation of the cage (2), in which the hook (8) is connected to the transverse axis (9) of the cage (2).
