Summary:A modified basic oxygen furnace (MBOF) slag and a method of manufacturing thereof are provided. The method includes the steps of providing a hot molten slag; and when a temperature of the molten slag being between 1350 DEG C and 1550 DEG C, blowing 40 Nm3 to 250 Nm3 oxygen into the hot molten slag to obtain a modified basic oxygen furnace slag. The modified basic oxygen furnace slag does not contain free calcium oxide, and has an expansion rate of less than 0.5% and a pH value of less than 11.
