Summary:A multiphase power supply comprises a multiphase trans-inductor voltage regulator (TLVR), an averaging inductor direct current resistance (DCR) current sense circuit and a pulse width modulation (PWM) controller. The secondary windings of a plurality of transformers of the multiphase trans-inductor voltage regulator are connected in series with the compensation inductor to form a trans-inductor loop that is connected to an output voltage of the trans-inductor voltage regulator. The averaging inductor DCR current sense circuit generates an average sensed voltage based on the output voltage, a plurality of switch node voltages of the plurality of regulator blocks of the multiphase trans-inductor voltage regulator, and a compensation inductor voltage of the compensation inductor. The PWM controller generates a plurality of PWM signals that drive the regulator blocks to generate the output voltage of the TLVR based at least on the average sensed voltage. The multiphase power supply of the present invention reduce
