Summary:A portable electronic device including a first body, a second body, a hinge mechanism and a flexible screen is provided. The hinge mechanism includes a first bracket fixed to the first body, a second bracket fixed to the second body, an arc-shaped sliding member and a link. The first bracket includes an arc-shaped sliding rail. The second bracket includes an arc-shaped sliding portion. The arc-shaped sliding portion is slidably connected to the arc-shaped sliding rail through the arc-shaped sliding member. The link has a first end pivotally connected to one of the first bracket and the second bracket and a second end slidably connected to the other of the first bracket and the second bracket. The flexible screen extends from the second body to the first body. The flexible screen has a flexible display portion located between the second body and the first body and corresponding to the hinge mechanism.
