The present invention aims to provide a film roll capable of suppressing occurrence of winding defects. The film roll (1) has a resin film (20) wound up, and the resin film (20) has knurl parts (31, 32) at both ends in the width direction of the resin film (20); the knurl parts (31, 32) are equipped with a plurality of unit knurls (40) spaced apart from each other and regularly arranged; each unit knurl (40) includes: an upper convex portion (41), which is in a circumferential shape, formed on the upper surface (21) of the resin film (20), and protruding upwardly, and the lower convex portion (42), which is in a circumferential shape, formed on the lower surface (22) of the resin film (20) and protruding downwardly.
