Summary:The present disclosure provides a cleaning device and a lighting effect control method, where the lighting effect control method of the cleaning device includes: determining a state mode of the cleaning device; and controlling a display lamp of the cleaning device to display a lighting effect corresponding to the state mode based on the state mode of the cleaning device; where the cleaning device includes at least a sweeping state mode and a mopping state mode, and the light effects corresponding to any two of the state modes are different. By first determining which state mode the cleaning device is in, and then displaying the light effect corresponding to the state mode, in addition, through the different light effects corresponding to any two state modes, different lighting effects can be used to display the different working states or alert states of the cleaning device.
