Summary:The washing machine of the present disclosure comprises a washing tub that accommodates laundry, a solution tank that stores a solution, and an automatic solution input device that inputs the solution stored in the solution tank to the washing tub. The solution tank is formed to be substantially box shaped, and has, in the installed state thereof, a tank body having an opening in the upper surface thereof, and a tank lid that has an insertion wall inserted in the opening and covers the opening. An outer peripheral surface of the insertion wall faces an upper inner peripheral surface of the tank body in a state in which the tank lid is mounted to the tank body, and the solution tank has a groove part disposed substantially in the horizontal direction in the installed state in a peripheral surface that includes at least one of the upper inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface.
