Summary: | A method for preparing carbon nanodots fluorescent polymer comprises: subjecting a reaction mixture to a reaction so as to obtain a carbon nanodots fluorescent polymer containing a polymer and a plurality of carbon nanodots dispersed in the polymer, wherein the reaction mixture includes a reactant and a biological component, the polymer is made from the reactant, and the carbon nanodots are made from the biological component. The reactant is selected from the group consisting of a reaction component or a condensation polymer that is formed by the condensation reaction of the reaction component. The reaction component includes a polycarboxylic acid material, and a reacting material which is able to react with the carboxyl group of the poly carboxylic acid material and which is selected from the group consisting of a polyol material or a polyamine material.
