Summary:The present invention provides a structure and a method that can inform a user of information related to a inhalation device in a timely manner. A control method of the present invention controls a process of notifying a user of information performed by a system, which includes an inhalation device that uses a base material to generate aerosol and a terminal device that communicates with the inhalation device. The control method includes: a step of determining whether the inhalation device has a remaining amount of power that can perform a predetermined number of times for processing to generate aerosol, and a step of controlling a process of using the terminal device to notify the user of the information indicating the remaining amount of power based on the determined result.
