Summary:The present invention relates to an aluminum can for wine filling. The can is composed of an aluminum can body having a polyester resin coating on the inner surface of the can and an aluminum end to cover the opening of the aluminum can body. The can is filled with wine having pH of 3.0 to 4.0 and a sulfur dioxide molecular content of 1.9 mg/L or less, so that corrosion of the container/can and impairment of wine flavor can be prevented effectively even when the container is filled with a sulfite-containing wine and sealed without using any special scavenger for capturing sulfurous acid.
