Summary:The invention is a method for recycling water treatment sludge and applies it to the production of ceramsite lightweight aggregate. The focus of this method is to use water treatment sludge as a raw material, used alone or mixed with natural clay (such as Shimen Reservoir sludge) to make raw materials for the production of ceramsite. The ceramsite raw material is then granulated and baked in a rotary kiln, and then made into a ceramsite lightweight aggregate. During the production process, the organic matter and other components in the water purification sludge are fully utilized as the flux and expansion agent in the process of roasting ceramsite, so that the ceramsite produced by it has energy saving, light weight and heat insulation and sound insulation. It can be further widely used in green building materials, agricultural horticultural media materials, water purification filter materials and other fields.
