Summary:An assembly including a plug connector and a conductive cage. The plug connector includes a housing, a projection extending therefrom, and a paddle card mounted therein. The cage includes a cage housing forming an inner area and at least one cap forming a keyway. The housing of the plug connector is received in the inner area of the cage and the projection of the plug connector is received in the keyway of the cage. The cage may include a plurality of spring fingers therein which engage with a conductive bezel. The cage provides EMI shielding for the plug connector.
