The data protection method for the memory includes: detecting whether a tamper event is happened or not to generate a trigger signal; writing a lock signal to the memory during a first time period according to the lock signal, wherein the lock signal is used to prevent protected data from being read out; and erasing the protected data during a second time period according to the lock signal, wherein the first time period is before the second time period.
