Summary:A system and method for measuring network parameters of a wireless communication network and reporting the measured network parameters to a network node are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system and method are configured to determine, by a wireless communication node, at least one parameter related to wireless communication devices in a wireless communication network; compare, by the wireless communication node, the at least one parameter with at least one threshold value; and report, by the wireless communication node, according to an outcome of the comparing, the at least one parameter to a second network node associated with the wireless communication network.
