Summary:The present invention provides a water heater control system and method. The system includes a heater, a pump, a water outlet device, a water temperature set interface, a water inlet temperature sensor, a water outlet temperature sensor, a water flow sensor and a controller. The controller is configured to calculate the required quantity of water according to the minimum capacity of the water heater to control the pump to reach the predetermined water temperature, thereby preventing the outgoing water from overheating.
