Summary: | The purpose of the present invention is to provide zirconium oxide nanoparticles having a large particle diameter. In these zirconium oxide nanoparticles, the ratio (D90/D50) of the volume-based cumulative 90% particle diameter D90 relative to the volume-based cumulative 50% particle diameter D50 in dynamic light scattering particle diameter measurements is 3.0 or less, and the half value width of a (101) face in XRD measurements using CuK[alpha] rays as a light source is 1.20 DEG or less. In these particles, the diffusion coefficient in dynamic light scattering particle diameter measurements is 7.0*10-7 cm2/sec or less. |
