Summary:In this method for establishing wireless communication, a portable operation unit transmits an operation mode switching instruction via a first wireless communication path to a stacker crane having an automatic operation mode and a manual operation mode. A second reception unit (22A) is connected to the stacker crane. For example, a connection request that is a request to establish wireless communication over a second wireless communication path is wirelessly transmitted to the second reception unit (22A) by a portable operation unit comprising a portable remote control (6C).
