Summary: | The present invention provides a worm gear processing method, which includes step 1, step 2, and step 3. In step 1: provide a worm gear to be machined and a machining worm gear hob; in step 2: calculate the relationship between the expected machining amount [DELTA] of the machining worm gear hob relative to the worm gear to be machined, according to the plural parameters related to the worm gear to be machined and the machining worm gear hob, and the variation amount [delta] of shaft angle, and then generate a comparison table; in step 3: refer to the comparison table to perform a dressing process upon the to-be-machined tooth profile of the worm gear to be machined by using the machining worm gear hob, and let the worm gear to be machined form a processed tooth profile. Accordingly, the worm gear machining method of the present invention can greatly increase the accuracy during cutting and reduce the trial and error process time during tooth profile dressing. |
