Summary:A recue buoy includes a supporting rack comprising a plurality of first poles and a plurality of second poles pivotally interconnected; a plurality of resilient members disposed between the first poles and the second poles; and a protection casing. The resilient members include a plurality of torsional springs which by the resiliency thereof stretch the supporting rack to transform the supporting rack into a hollow sphere. The protection casing encompasses an accommodation space and has an opening capable of closing up. The rescue buoy in the embodiments would float safely during adverse weather conditions and remain in upright position, while protecting users from harms and keeping them warm and above the water, in order to provide for a better chance of survival.
