Summary: | The present invention provides a composition for food product, in which the composition comprises an ingredient (A) of alpha crosslinked starch (except for alpha acetyl crosslinked starch, alpha ether crosslinked starch, and alpha acetyl ether crosslinked starch), and an ingredient (B) which is any one or two selected from the group consisting of guar gum and xanthan gum, wherein the amount of the ingredient (A) to the total amount of the composition is 5 mass% or more and 70 mass% or less, and the amount of the ingredient (B) to the total amount of the composition is 10 mass% or more and 40 mass% or less. |
