Summary: | The invention relates to a method (34) for performing a self-test of an electrical converter circuit (14), wherein, by means of a control device (18), a measurement cycle (M) in which the converter circuit (14) is operated is begun, proceeding from a known operating point (24) at which a predefined electrical operating variable (V) has a predefined starting value. According to the invention, the time (t) since the beginning of the measurement cycle (M) is captured, and the electrical operating variable (V) and the time (t) are two monitoring variables of the self-test, and the measurement cycle (M) is ended if one of the two monitoring variables (V) meets an ending criterion (26), and then a check value (29) is formed from a measurement value (T) that the other of the two monitoring variables has at the end of the measurement cycle (M) and it is checked if the check value (29) lies outside of a predefined reference interval (Tok), and if so an error signal (30) is produced. |
