The easy-to-start slim motor of the invention includes a base, a rotor, a stator, and a magnetic ring. The base includes a shaft tube. The stator is coupled to the base. The rotor is rotatably mounted to the shaft tube and includes a magnetic element. The magnetic ring includes an annular body and two positioning portions diametrically disposed on the annular body. The annular body is mounted around an outer periphery of the shaft tube and is misaligned from the magnetic element in an axial direction. Each of the two positioning portions is aligned with the magnetic element in the axial direction.
