Summary:Provided are a photosensitive coloring composition which has high sensitivity, as well as excellent linearity, pattern shape, resolution, developing resistance, and chemical resistance and which can further have excellent heat resistance, even if the pigment content is high or film thickness is large, and a color filter using the photosensitive coloring composition. The photosensitive coloring composition may comprise a photopolymerization initiator (A) represented by general formula (1), a resin (B), a photopolymerizable compound (C), and a coloring agent (D). The photosensitive coloring composition may further contain a dispersant, and at least one selected from the group consisting of the resin (B), the coloring agent (D), and the dispersant may have an oxetane group.
