Summary:Embodiments of the present application provides a method for obtaining virtual resource for a virtual object, and a client terminal thereof. The method includes obtaining a virtual object currently operated in a target application, the target application installed on a user device; determining a resource auxiliary scheme for the virtual object; according to the determined resource auxiliary scheme, determining at least one virtual resource that satisfies auxiliary condition; and displaying an icon corresponding to the resource auxiliary scheme and an icon corresponding to the at least one virtual resource that satisfies the auxiliary condition, on an application program interface of the user device such that the virtual object obtains the at least one virtual resource that satisfies the auxiliary condition, from the application program interface.
