The present invention discloses a composition of heat accumulator and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method is used to heat and sinter the composition so as to obtain a heat accumulator. In the process of heating and sintering, the silica in the composition is melted to simultaneously fill up the voids of a mixture, so as to eliminate the problems of poor thermal shock resistance and structural instability caused by the voids in prior art, thereby greatly reducing the damage rate of the heat accumulator and avoiding material peeling. Accordingly, the manufactured composition of heat accumulator is provided with better abrasion resistance and better mechanical strength.
