Summary:Provided are an application capacity enlargement method, an apparatus and a system. The method comprises: determining a plurality of pieces of resource information needed for capacity enlargement of a plurality of applications; according to the plurality of pieces of resource information, generating a plurality of pieces of instance resource information for the plurality of applications in a pre-configured resource pool; and when a capacity enlargement request regarding a certain application is detected, starting the application in the resource pool according to the instance resource information of the applications. By pre-configuring the instance resource information, when capacity enlargement is needed, an instance of an application is started directly, and traffic can be immediately cut-in for service, thus complex capacity enlargement steps are avoided, the capacity enlargement period is greatly shortened, rapid capacity enlargement is realized, and the stable operation of the applications is ensured.
