Summary:A seat adjustment mechanism with securement means is provided. The seat adjustment mechanism includes a cover plate, an outer housing, a brake, and a clutch assembly. The cover plate includes a body and multiple connection elements perpendicularly connected to the body. An end portion of each connection element includes a close-type through hole. The outer housing includes multiple grooves corresponding to the connection elements. Each connection element is inserted through each groove to form two engagement portions by processing steps. Each engagement portion clamps two sides of each groove. The brake and the clutch assembly are installed between the cover plate and the outer housing. Accordingly, the cover plate and the outer housing are joined with superior strength, durability and reliability.
