Summary:A matching system and a matching method for game playing are provided. The matching system includes a remote server, a first mobile apparatus, a console platform and a second mobile apparatus. The first mobile apparatus transmits a room request to the remote server to create a game room corresponding to an executed game program, and obtains a characteristic value related to the game room. The console platform receives the characteristic value from the first mobile apparatus and broadcasts the characteristic value. The second mobile apparatus receives the characteristic value from the console platform. When the second mobile apparatus transmits a search request to the remote server based on the characteristic value, the remote server provides related information of the game room created by the first mobile apparatus to the second mobile apparatus.
