Summary:Method and apparatus for identifying pseudo base station are provided. A method for identifying the pseudo base station comprising: Acquiring system information (SI) of the target cell; Determining whether the target cell is included in a real cell list based on the acquired SI. If the target cell is included in the real cell list, generating a first comparison result by comparing the information comprised in the SI of the target cell and the associated information in the real cell list; and determing whether the target cell is a pseudo cell according to the first comparison result.
