Summary:The present invention discloses a location indicator and a manufacturing method thereof. The location indictor is internally provided with an induction coil and a chip so as to be found by being sensed and induced; the location indicator is provided with a receiving element for placing the induction coil and the chip; after being placed on the receiving element, the induction coil and the chip are wholly placed into an injection mold, and then, the outer part of the receiving element is coated with a high-temperature hot-melt material using an injection molding process, so that the outer surface layer of the receiving element is fused together with the high-temperature hot melt material after being subjected to hot melting; and the location indicator manufactured accordingly is not only resistant to high pressure and high temperature and extremely good in waterproof characteristic, but also beneficial to high-speed mass production, cost reduction and market competitiveness increment.
