Summary:The present invention provides a method for evaluating oral health, especifical for evaluating risk of suffering periodontal disease, comprising: (1) providing an oral specimen of a subject; (2) detecting at least two indicator strains on the oral specimen; and (3) analyzing the amount respectively of the at least two of indicator strains, in which when the amount respectively of the at least two of indicator strains exceeds over a standard value of an amount of a corresponding indicator strain, it represents that the subject has a higher risk of the periodontal disease.
