The invention discloses a substrate unit, an element substrate, a display device and a manufacturing method of the display device. The manufacturing method of the display device includes: providing a first carrier plate, and forming a first interlayer on the first carrier plate; disposing a first glass substrate above the first interlayer to obtain a first substrate unit; forming a first element layer on the first glass substrate to obtain a first element substrate; providing a second carrier plate, and forming a second interlayer on the second carrier plate; disposing a second glass substrate above the second interlayer to obtain a second substrate unit; combining the first element substrate with the second substrate unit; separating the first glass substrate and the first interlayer; and separating a second glass substrate and the second interlayer to obtain the display device.
