A machine tool (100) comprises a processing chamber (2) for workpieces (W), a loader chamber (3), a dividing wall (4) that has an opening section (5), a principal shaft (10), a workpiece supply device (30), a conveyance device (20), and a discharge device (60). The workpiece supply device (30) is equipped with a workpiece holding section (31), a movement mechanism (32), a cover member (33), and a coil spring (40).
