Summary: | An electrochemical flow cell assembly and bipolar plate thereof are provided for improving the interfacial contact between the bipolar plate and the electrode and increasing the distribution and the flowability of the electrolyte in flow field. The bipolar plate includes a nonconductive part and a conductive part. The nonconductive part is a frame structure with a hollow region, and the frame structure contains distribution channels and manifolds. The conductive part is disposed in the hollow region and fitted close to the nonconductive part so as to form a containing space. Moreover, the conductive part includes hill structures to form electrolyte flow paths in the containing space, and the electrolyte may be introduced in or out the conductive part by the distribution channels of the nonconductive part. |
