A control system for controlling a power plant system is disclosed. The control system comprises: a HMI unit used to compile a control logic associated with the power plant system; first, second and third controllers, each controller including a processing module and a memory module, each memory module storing the control logic, a command interpreter and a unified data logic engine program unit; a first I/O unit used as the data transmission interface between the first controller and boiler; a second I/O unit used as the data transmission interface between the second controller and steam turbine; a third I/O unit used as the data transmission interface between the third controller and generator. The first, second and third controllers execute the unified data logic engine program unit and the respective command interpreters such that the control logic can be transmitted to the corresponding command interpreter from the unified data logic engine program unit of each controller.
