A subject of this invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for estimating wavelength of a light emitting body with high yields and the performance of this method and apparatus is the same as a spectroscopic measurement device. Solutions of this invention include: a first observation section that allows a light whose wavelength is longer than a first wavelength used as a determination reference for normal light to pass for the purpose of observation; and a second observation section that allows a light whose wavelength is shorter than a second wavelength used as a determination reference for normal light to pass for the purpose of observation. The first wavelength is set to be shorter than the second wavelength.
