Summary:A method for loading a carrier with a compound in an organic solvent, which is characterized in that the organic solvent contains an amine. It is preferable that the organic solvent has a hydroxyl group. It is also preferable that the compound has at least one group that is selected from among a carboxyl group, a sulfonic acid group, a phosphoric acid group, a phosphonic acid group and an alkoxysilyl group. It is also preferable that the carrier is formed of a metal oxide such as titanium oxide, zinc oxide or aluminum oxide. This loaded body is suitable for use as an electrode.
