Summary:An object of the present invention is to provide an agent for sedating the response of skin to external stimulation. The aforementioned object was achieved by finding a component that promotes CD39 gene expression in Langerhans cells. More specifically, the present invention is based on the finding that the combination of carboxymethyl-beta glucan or a salt thereof, polyoxyethylene (POE) /polyoxypropylene (POP) random copolymer dimethyl ether and rosewater promotes CD39 gene expression.
