The present invention provides an outer hood of hair dryer, which comprises a sleeve, a receiving box and a cover body. The sleeve comprises a passage, an air inlet part, a first opening part and a second opening part. The air inlet part may be detachably fitted on the nozzle of hair dryer. The receiving box is detachably assembled to the first opening part or the second opening part, and has one end provided with a venting portion, and the venting portion is extended into the passage for passing air flow from the hair dryer. The outer hood of hair dryer according to the present invention is used for being assembled on a hair dryer and the material for hyperthermia or aromatherapy may be placed in the receiving box based on the requirement, so that the material may be blown toward the human body or released into the air along with the heat and air flow of hair dryer, which is convenient to perform hyperthermia or aromatherapy.
