Summary:A sorting machine includes a first bin-tray, a second bin-tray, at least a bin-frame picking device, a chip-picking platform, a sorting arm, a moving mechanism and a controller. The chip-picking platform is used to place a wafer carrier on which a plurality of chips is located. The controller enables the bin-frame picking device to place at least one first bin-frame and one second bin-frame respectively on the first bin-tray and the second bin-tray. The moving mechanism moves the first bin-tray to a sorting area. After the sorting arm has sorted the chips belonging to a first group to the first bin-frame, the first bin-tray is moved away from the sorting area. Afterwards or at least partially at the same time, the moving mechanism moves the second bin-tray to the sorting area. The sorting arm sorts the chips belonging to a second group to the second bin-frame.
