Summary:The present invention provides a touch panel module and a touch detection method thereof. The touch panel module includes a touch sensing structure. The touch sensing structure defines a touch area. The touch area includes a first touch area and a second touch area. The first touch area and the second touch area both include a plurality of scan lines to determine a first coordinate of a touch point in the touch area and a plurality of sensing lines to determine a second coordinate of the touch point. A plurality of analog to digital converters (ADCs) convert analog signals in relation to the touch point transmitted from the sensing lines into digital signals. A switch unit controls the plurality of ADCs to connect to the sensing lines of the first touch area or to connect to the sensing lines of the second touch area.
