Summary: | Sandwich-type, two-dimensional graphene-based porous polymer has been successfully synthesized via a graphene-mediated Sonogashira-Hagihara coupling of an alkyne monomer with a halogen-containing monomer and a condensation reaction between melamine and a dialdehyde monomer. The two-dimensional conjugated microporous polymer has high surface area of up to 888 m2 g-1 and fluorescence quenching phenomena compared with corresponding polymer network not based on a graphene template. Upon thermal pyrolysis, S- and/or N-doped two-dimensional porous carbons can be readily fabricated in a template-free manner. Such graphene-based two-dimensional porous carbon exhibits high heteroatom content with large surface area, and excellent supercapacitor performance. |
